René Morris

René joined Ternan Energy in February 2025 as our Business Development Manager, where she is focused on growing market share and managing our opportunity pipelines. With a background in Structural Geology, René began her career as a subsurface application developer, where she developed intuitive subsurface applications to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

René has since transitioned into business development roles leveraging her technical understanding to identify customer needs, and by clearly communicate the technical value of industry solutions.

Outside of the office, René is passionate about mentoring, having participated in a formal leadership development program for young professionals for the past three years. When she’s not working, René enjoys being outdoors, running with her Whippet, but also values a quiet moment with a good book when the weather calls for it.
