Alex joined the Ternan team in September 2019 as Geoscience Director and Principal Geophysicist. A marine geophysicist with over 23 years of experience, Alex has gained significant expertise across a broad range of projects in the Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy and Marine Cable sectors. After more than a decade working offshore, Alex came onshore to continue his career in marine site investigation and survey.
Alex is a Fellow of the Geological Society; sits on the SUT Offshore Site Investigation & Geotechnics committee and is a member of several industry bodies such as the PESGB and EAGE.
When not at his desk Alex enjoys trail-running with his ever-enthusiastic cocker spaniel, Rocco. Born and bred in Cornwall, Alex never passes up the opportunity for a proper pasty and when it comes to cream tea, yes, it is always jam before cream!
